Career Connections a Hit at FIDM

Every year FIDM hosts an awesome networking event that benefits both alumni and FIDM Students called Career Connections.

This year's event gave FIDM Students the opportunity to not only see where a degree from FIDM can take them, but also to network with potential employers in their fields! With more than 100 alumni attending Career Connections, students met FIDM Graduates face-to-face. Spending fifteen minutes with each grad, students asked a range of questions about everything from the grad’s educational background at FIDM to the work experience they acquired to get the position they hold today!

Even Project Runway star and FIDM Grad Nick Verreos joined in the festivities, giving career advice to FIDM students about his real-life experiences in the fashion industry. He was joined by Fashion Stylist and 2^nd Season Project Runway star Raymundo Baltazar.

Another FIDM Grad and a star of this season’s Project Runway Kelli Martin was also on hand to show off her chic styles from her clothing line, Anti-Label and to give students career advice about starting a own clothing line.
