Calvin Klein takes its CK ONE brand and gives it a summer twist. CK ONE Summer is an energizing combination of top notes blue mint, cucumber, lime, and bergamot; middle notes of water lotus, fresh watery accord, rosemary, and green apple; and base notes of rum cocktail, sandalwood, driftwood, and sea moss.

Although CK ONE Summer is categorized as a unisex fragrance, this one might favor the men more than the women. CK ONE Summer is available in a 3.4 oz. eau de toilette spray.

That’s right JWOWW, Snooki’s partner in crime on MTV’s Jersey Shore, has followed her best friend into the fragrance business with her own line JWOWW by Jenni Farley®. JWOWW has top notes of pear, citron, and fresh air; middle notes of rose, geranium and sheer muguet; and base notes of sandalwood, musk, and white moss.

JWOWW by Jenni Farley® is available as a 1.7-oz. eau de parfum spray. It also comes with a 3-oz. body lotion. For you Jersey Shore fans, you now have two fragrances for your collection!

Imagine earrings, pendants, and bracelets each having a round charm that encases a spherical scented eco-friendly wooded bead. Lisa Hoffman Beauty has just put such necklaces on the market!

The scents for the charms include Tuscan Fig, Tunisian Neroli, Japanese Agarwood, French Clary Sage, and Madagascar Orchid. Each necklace comes with a jar containing enough scented beads for six refills that last one to two weeks before the fragrance dissipates.

If you are a fan of America’s Next Top Model (ANTM) on the CW, you'll be happy to know that your favorite show now has its own scent. Premiered on the final episode of the 2011 season, Dream Come True is ANTM’s first fragrance.

Dream Come True has top notes of red current and honeydew; middle notes of freesia, lily, plum blossom, and peony; and base notes of blonde wood, vanilla, pink sugar, and musk. This one is going to be a little sweet and on the light side as an eau de toilette. It is only available in a 1 ounce bottle, however you can get it in a roller ball version which is a great gift for someone on-the-go—perhaps someone into modeling?!

Fragrance Trends: Rebelle by Rihanna

Rebelle by Rihanna takes you to the singer's Caribbean roots—feminine and exotic. The fragrance starts with the top notes of strawberries, purple plum, and ginger; middle notes of cacao absolute, vanilla orchid, and heliotrope; and base notes of patchouli, coffee beans, creamy musk, and amber.

Rebelle reminds me of the scents you might encounter at a Rihanna concert on a tropical island—sweet and exotic.

The bottle is designed after a stiletto wrapped in red ribbon. Rebelle by Rihanna comes in a 3.4 oz. eau de parfum spray. Although it’s not currently available in a lotion, I think these ingredients would smell great as such.

Put your headphones on, play your favorite Rihanna album, spray on Rebelle starting with your ankles, behind your knees and work you’re your way up, plop into your favorite lounge chair, and relax.

Fragrance Trends: Snooki by Nicole Polizzi

Yes, Nicole Polizzi—affectionately known to her fans as Snooki—is the latest to enter into the celebrity fragrance business with Snooki by Nicole Polizzi. Snooki by Nicole Polizzi is a 3.3-oz eau de parfum spray with top notes of chilled lychee, quince flower, and cool kiwi; middle notes of white jasmine, beach flower, and pink cupcake; and bottom notes of earthy woods, driftwood, and sugared musk.

This fragrance is going to be on the sweet side, which is usually a winner with younger women and girls. If you’re a Snooki fan this is definitely a collector’s item for the "Jersey Shore" faithful.

Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture is a wonderful blend of the top notes mandarin orange and wild berries, middle notes of honeysuckle and gardenia, and the base note of amber.

This limited edition (short for "collector’s item") not only includes a 3.4 of parfum, but a solid perfume pendant necklace. Once the solid perfume has been used up, the neclace makes a great keepsake. Viva La Juicy's packaging is inspired by a jewelry box, and has a cute pink ribbon bow wrapped around the bottle neck, making this fragrance a great addition to your “display” fragrances.

Betsey Johnson launched her new fragrance Too Too. It’a a wonderful blend of top notes consisting of passion fruit and mandarin, middle notes of ginger, strawberry leaves, jasmine, and Bulgarian rose, and base notes of patchouli, sandalwood, and vanilla. I stress to my students the importance of creating a great scent, but in this case Betsey’s packaging choice is equally outstanding. Too Too is definitely a collector’s item.

Fragrance Trends: Edible Perfume

Another way to experience a fragrance? How about eating some. That’s right, ingredient company Beneo has partnered with Bulgarian confectionary manufacturer Alpi to develop Deo, a rose-scented, sugar free candy. Geraniol is an element of oil of rose found naturally in rose, lavender, lemon, orange, and vanilla. Geraniol leaves the body through the pores with a rose-like scent. Consumers can enjoy a candy treat and at the same time exude a rose scent afterword.

Unfortunately, you are going to have to wait awhile before you can enjoy Deo in the U.S.; it is currently only available in Bulgaria, Hungry, and the Czech Republic. Planning any trips soon?
