Yesterday we showed you three awesome Halloween superhero costumes—Batgirl, Poison Ivy, and Harley Quinn—designed and created by FIDM Fashion Design Students. Love those costumes!
But, today we want to give you some tips on how you can put together superhero costumes for Catwoman, Green Arrow, Elektra, Thor, and Wonder Woman with things you may already have at home!
We spotted Angel and Angelica on the FIDM campus wearing nothing but newspaper--they handmade their garments using the LA Times, including little details like hair accessories, pocketbooks, shorts, and a tie! Props for creativity!
Keeping up with the DIY trend, Taylor V. showed us her embellished pearl collar, paired with a bold teal blazer and feathered sandals!
In the same workshop, we spotted Valerie G. and Shadow P. both rocking bright prints from the same color palette.
Stay tuned for more from 3 Days of Fashion!

It's Earth Day 2011 (yay!) and to celebrate we've come up with a fun and easy DIY project that's stylish and, of course, eco-friendly--a super cute tote made from your favorite old T-shirt. Instead of throwing it out (or worse, turning it into cleaning rags) make it into something you'lll love to wear all over again.
