FIDM Alumnus Kevan Hall at L.A. Fashion Week

One of the biggest shows of Spring 2010 Fashion Week was our very own alumnus Kevan Hall. His collection featured form-fitting floor-length gowns and beautiful spring wear. Not only was the collection stunning, but the atmosphere in the Universal Studios back-lot complemented the entire evening; there were beautiful cars sponsored by Rusnak Automotive, and complimentary food and drink. Check out the images from the entire evening, including backstage photos!

Photos from 8th Annual Fashion for the Cure

Here are some photos from the 8th Annual Los Angeles County Affiliate Susan G. Komen Fashion for the Cure Benefit featuring the Diane von Furstenberg Collection.

Many were inspired by not only the colorful and delightful dresses and bathing suits from the DVF Cruise/Pre-Spring Collection shown at Smashbox studios in West Hollywood, but they were also inspired by those models who had fought the fight against cancer... and won. Many stood to give a standing ovation to those who definitely deserved to walk that runway.

Celebrities and fashion moguls all over Los Angeles gathered to place bids on silent auction items such as Hudson Jean, and splendid hotel get-aways. The auction was successful in raising money in order to find a cure for cancer.

Autumn Brings Forth Jimmy Choo for H&M.

Jimmy_choo_hm

This autumn, H&M gives other retailers a run for their money with their new line hitting stores November 14. Who is the fabulous brand collaborating with  H&M? Well, none other than the British luxury accessory brand Jimmy Choo. The collaboration of accessories will include shoes, handbags, and clothing for men and women! This will be the first time that Jimmy Choo will experiment with a clothing line. The inspiration came from the punk chic and rock 'n' roll glamour that took over the 80's era. Like we all say, there is a first time for everything...

To read an interview with the luxury brand, check out the latest H&M catalog.
