ARTTM - Pub1 - Eric Ryan Anderson

When Fashion Club got the chance to interview singer hottie Nick Santino of A Rocket To The Moon, we jumped. His band is coming out with a new album March 26, "Wild & Free" via Fueled by Ramen!

Find out what inspires him, his musical influences, and his idea of the perfect date. Plus, he has some special advice for all of you pursuing your dreams!

FC: Who's your biggest celeb crush?
Nick: Katy Perry. Oh, yeah!

FC: Who's the coolest celeb you've ever met?
Nick: Dr. Phil, obviously.

FC: What's your fashion essential when you're on tour?
Nick: I refer to my style as "white trash chic." I kinda just wear vintage western shirts and cowboy boots.

FC: What's your idea of a perfect date?
Nick: Staying in and watching a movie. Then maybe go out and get dinner. But not fancy dinner. Something like pizza, or McDonald's.

FC: What inspires you?
Nick: Everything—sounds cliche and stupid, but everything. Life, love, family, friends, traveling, other musicians. Everything.

FC: Who are your musical influences?
Nick: Everyone from Tom Petty to Katy Perry, and everything in between.

FC: How did you get the band name?
Nick: Honestly, I have no idea. I'm a space geek, so I think it just came to me one day and unfortunately stuck haha.

FC: What's your favorite song on your new album?
Nick: Wherever You Go. For sure.

FC: Tell us something about yourself that no one else knows:
Nick: At this point, there's very little that people don't know about me thanks to Twitter hah. Let's see. I go to bed pretty early.

FC: What's your all-time favorite movie?
Nick. ET is up there. I'm not good at picking favorite anythings.

FC: What's your favorite men's cosmetic product?
Nick: For my hair, I use this Paul Mitchell Tea Tree stuff. Love that.

FC: What advice do you have for our readers who want to pursue careers in a highly competitive industry?
Nick: Just keep at it. You're gonna run into a lot of crappy people but fortunately the good always outweigh the bad. Just never give up on it. You'll make it anywhere you want to go! Trust me.
