Twenty-one-year-old New Zealand native Bella Anselmi is already a fashion industry pro and she hasn’t yet begun her studies at FIDM! She’s been working in her family’s footwear retail business for the last six years, and this fall she will bring her industry experience to the Fashion Design program as a student on the Los Angeles campus.
"I have worked in my family's footwear retail business part-time and full-time since I was 15 years old, starting off with a part time job as a sales assistant in several stores while still in high school, and now full time working at the head office. I have worked in many departments of the business ranging from marketing, buying, graphics, and even moving stock in the warehouse!"
