Fragrance Trends: DOT by Marc Jacobs

Do you like this story?

Dot by Marc Jacobs
Fragrance designer and FIDM Instructor André Barnwell is our guest beauty blogger, reviewing fragrances and reporting on fragrance trends. André says...

If you like sweet fragrances, DOT by Marc Jacobs is for you. This delightful fragrance comes in one of the prettiest bottles ever. It reminds us of a cute little ladybug. DOT has top notes of red berries, dragon fruit, and honeysuckle; middle notes of jasmine, coconut water, and orange blossom; and base notes of vanilla, driftwood, and musk. DOT by Marc Jacobs is an eau de parfum fragrance, which means it will last longer throughout the day—which is good because even though it’s sweet, it is not heavy. DOT by Marc Jacobs is available in 1.7 and 3.4 oz sizes. If you’re into unique bottles, you'll love this one—it's definitely a collector’s item.

André Barnwell is a fragrance designer and instructor at FIDM who teaches Fundamentals of Fragrance in the Beauty Industry Merchandising & Marketing Program.
