Tell us a bit about yourself. Jamie: I stay true to what I believe in. Stay loyal to the people who are considered to be apart of my life and I am currently captain of Rim of the World's Shred Team (Snowboard & Ski). On top of that I have a passion for fast-paced, competitive environments, and hit the beach as often as possible!

Mike: I currently live in the San Bernardino Mountains where I'm president of the drama club, as well as an active member of the International Thespian Society. I'm also the business manager of the yearbook staff, where I market and promote the selling of our yearbooks. To help further my knowledge of Digital Media, I enrolled in an ROP TV Video/Production class so I can get more experience on the technical aspects in making films. Movies and television have always been my passion, and I hope that I could reach my dreams of creating powerful films that will leave a lasting impression on the viewer.

What are your proudest accomplishments so far? Jamie: Last year in Mammoth Lakes, CA, I won first place in a snowboarding competition. Nothing feels better than accomplishing an M.V.P. award. Secondly, I'm proud of recognizing my passion and talents and choosing FIDM to better my future.

Mike: My proudest accomplishment so far is being part of a troupe of actors who have amazing passion for the drama club. They have such energy and love for theatre, and I'm honored to have been able to share the experience of acting/directing alongside with them.

What made FIDM right for you? Jamie: The fact that teachers are also professionals in the fashion industry. I knew that the focused schedule and quality of education would give me greater advantages in persuing my career.

Mike: I felt that FIDM would help me give me the upper hand on my future with the exclusivity it has with its students. I also believe that the Digital Media Degree Program will give me the knowledge I need to become a happy, successful filmmaker.

Describe your entrance project. Jamie: The overall theme of my project was taking the pricey dance costume and making it available to young women anywhere from 16 to 22 years old. I chose a variety of ballet gowns from Dance Magazine, and made the costume into a wearable piece under the licensed label Windsor's.

Mike: My entrance project was a seven-minute film that involves two lamps who fall in love with each other. Due to the fact that I had no camera, I went out and bought one to make this film. From there, I had my sister help me maneuver the lamps to give them character and hopefully, emotions. The story involves a lonely lamp named Phillip who finds his true love on another desk across from him. Throughout the film, Phillip overcomes a series of obstacles to arrive to his love interest. When he finally reaches her, they both hug and their lights flick on.

What are your career goals? Jamie: There are so many options! But I would really love designing under a surf/skate/snow company. I am a beach lover and a snowboarder so it would fit the lifestyle I have perfectly. One day, if the opportunity came my way, you might see some designs under my own label!

Mike: My career goal is to be part of the process in which movies are produced, directed, and edited. I wish to make powerful films that will leave the viewers begging for more.
