El Segundo High School FIDM Fashion Club Hosts Fashion Show

Do you like this story?

The El Segundo High School FIDM Fashion Club hosted a fashion show on May 7, 2011, starring the children from the Richstone Family Center in Hawthorne, California.

The Fashion Club raised enough money to dress 30 kids in the latest trends for the "Feel Good Fashion Show." At the end of the event, the club surprised the Richstone kids and gifting them their outfits! How awesome is that.

Fashion Club President Mariesa Irene was the Featured Fashion Club Member on FashionClub.com in November last year. In her interview, she said her club planned to adopt the Richstone Family Center to do fun arts and crafts, such as making accessories, with the children. "This project is very close to our hearts. We are looking forward to making a difference in the lives of others."

Congratulations to Mariesa Irene and the entire El Segundo FIDM Fashion Club for a fantastic runway fashion show event! Great work.
