5 Essentials for the Creative Commuter
Do you like this story?
Lately I have been doing quite a bit of a commuting, to the point where I feel like I've grown quite the connection with my car, (a purple Honda whom I've named, “Haunz”). I have a habit of personifying just about everything I come to contact with, and Haunz is complete with his own background story and personality. Who knew he'd end up being so inspiring? Ha! Anyway, here are some things I feel must be inside my vehicle in case of an “emergency”.
1. Fuzzy pink bunny ears. Perfect for when I am sent on menial errands. It makes trips to the grocery store or even long drives a lot more exciting. I do get quite a few looks though.2. Fabulous sunglasses. Whether they be uniquely shaped or candy colored, I believe the bigger the better. It has practical value, and it's fun to pretend to be some sort of city socialite every now and then.
3. Notepad & pen. This has multiple uses. One, it's handy for writing down to-do lists, phone numbers, directions, you name it. Two, it makes for a cute travel journal! Have your passengers document the adventures you're going on, be sure to include the date, time, location, everything! Think of how cute it'll be to reflect on as time passes. :)
4. Mini Buddha statue. I have had my lucky traveling Buddha inside my car ever since I got my permit!
5. Happy meal game. I have a cheap pin-ball game my sister got as a toy inside of her kid's meal from some fast food place. It may be silly, but it's certainly entertaining for times when I have to wait for a friend to finish getting ready, or other boring moments.
Loving vibes & virtual kisses,
Michelle
