Still flipping over Nastia Liukin's Gold Medal victory in Beijing, this summer?
At just eighteen years of age, Nastia has already earned a place among the best gymnasts of our time, including Shannon Miller and Mary Lou Retton.
Over the course of The 2008 Summer Olympic Games, we found ourselves learning a little bit more about this champion gymnast... and we were pleasantly surprised to find out that Nastia absolutely loves CW's hit show and our personal fav, Gossip Girl!
Who can blame her, right? But Nastia is taking it one step farther, and according to our sources, she will appear in an upcoming episode! Thus far there's been no word on when she will appear or in what role, but we're thrilled none the less!
But Nastia isn't the only U.S. Olympic Gold Medalist to appear on a hit t.v. show. Last night, as I was watching the Season Finale of The Secret Life of the American Teenager, I noticed a familiar face! It was none other than Shawn Johnson, "America's Sweetheart" and Nastia's teammate on The U.S. Gymnastics Squad! Shawn had an adorable cameo in which she played a spunky love interest of bad-boy Ricky's.

P.S. Did you know that The Secret Life of the American Teenager is so popular, that on occasion it's ratings have even soared past CW's Gossip Girl and 90210? I was bummed when last night's season finale was over, not knowing when the show would return. But, I learned this morning that "Secret Life" is scheduled to premiere Tuesday, January 13th, 2009 on ABC Family with an episode entitled "The Secret Wedding of the American Teenager." Thank Goodness!
Gymnastics is my favorite sport to watch (and by "favorite" I mean "only"). It will fun to see the gymnasts on these shows!

Weight lifting for beginners program is but it is demanding, when you start a you need to have one thing straight, this is not going to be a walk on the park, this is nothing easy, nor these are vacation.
