Your top sources of inspiration:
I'm deeply inspired by the powerfully motivated, creative entrepreneurs in the Ladies Who Launch community - I recommend that everyone surround themselves with people who inspire them to continue to rise to the next level and achieve their dreams.
Briefly describe a typical day:
6AM: My puppy wakes me up and we go for a walk then have breakfast together.
8AM: Grab a cup of tea and start outlining creative strategies for launching women’s businesses and helping them make connections to get them moving forward and making money.
12PM: I call clients to check in on their progress (we call it “movement”) and give them support and one on one feedback.
4PM: Shop for our Ladies Who Launch meeting, then cook and decorate my house for the event.
6-10PM: The real inspiration starts! The Ladies Who Launch meeting is held and and all the ladies get to share with the group their exciting visions, ideas and connections for helping each other launch! This is so much fun and everyone is bursting at the seams with inspiration!
12AM: Go to sleep buzzing with excitement and glowing with the knowledge that what I do makes a difference in people’s lives...
Biggest challenge of your job:
Making time for everyone in my group and still finding personal time to see friends or play with my puppy.
Trend/item/inspiration you're loving right now:
I’m really into the designer wallpaper trend for interiors right now - There are some amazing designs out there! In women’s fashion, I’m loving ikat and some of the other tribal prints and patterns. I’m also, still feeling colored tights with scrunchy boots or fashion forward open toe shoes and ultra feminine silhouettes. Also loving lace, modern floral prints and anything with a 70’s prairie feeling. (pictured above: designs by Nama Rococo)
Do you have a style icon? If so, who is it and why?
Gwen Stefani because she's unique, cool, and always brings fresh perspective to fashion. I love that she is a total leader and always adventurous. Gwen never let’s me down.
What do you love most about your career?
I get paid to help amazing, motivated women launch their dreams. What could be more gratifying the that?
The one skill you couldn't do your job without:
Flexible creativity that allows me to shift and adapt quickly, change hats easily and always think outside the box. Flexibility is the number one essential skill for all entrepreneurs.
The ultimate accessory is:
My vintage bakelite Weiss bracelet. I wear it with anything and everything get more compliments on this then anything else I own!
Any parting advice?
Network with everyone! You never know who someone knows or who they’ll turn out to be later so follow up and stay in touch - Facebook is a great tool that helps make staying in contact really easy. Also, always be a “Yes." Embrace opportunity and walk through the doors appear before you, but constantly cultivate your own opportunities as well. Try out many different things, adventure and experimentation are the ultimate creative ally, so don’t shy away from new challenges that may help you grow or discover new talents or passions. Be a student of life. Be humble enough to know that you’ll never know everything and learning is essential to your growth. Good luck!
I propose not to wait until you earn enough money to order different goods! You can take the loans or just commercial loan and feel comfortable
