Blue Nail Polish Graduates From High School

According to the Los Angeles Times' Image section of last Sunday, blue is the hue that's replacing red on the talons of fashionistas on the runways and in fashion mags.
The Times features a variety of blues from Chanel's Blue Satin, sold out and going for $50 a bottle on eBay, to brands a little more in our price range, like Wet n' Wild's Sapphire Blue at 99 cents. The article also covered lots of mid-range brands like Cover Girl's Electric Blue, OPI's Yoga-la Get This Blue!, Orly's Blue Collar, Sephora's Myrtille, and Essie's Aruba Blue, shown above.
These dark blues go great with the grays and blacks being featured this season, and are a bit less over-dramatic than black nails.
