Fashion Club Daily Q&A: Jenna Daunais

FIDM Merchandise Marketing Grad Jenna Daunais interned as a Design Room Assistant with famed fuchsia-haired jewelry designer Tarina Tarantino while she was studying at FIDM. Upon graduating, she nabbed a job as Tarina's assistant. Now her working environment is the sparkling wonderland that is Tarina's world. "Everyone I work with is genuinely excited about his/her work," says Jenna. "That makes it a great place to be. Plus, my office is PINK!"

What is your dream purchase for summer? I'm going to dream big right here… I would have to go with anything from the Blumarine Spring/Summer show. These are my favorite pieces. Purple, girly, and sweet! For jewelry it is the neon butterfly necklace from Tarina Tarantino. Swarovski glass pearls, crystals, and neon lucite butterfly beads. I am in love!

What is the most beloved item in your wardrobe? Sequin and gauze ruffle top by Robert Rodriguez. I have not worn it yet!

You're spending an afternoon shopping in the city of your choice. What's the city and the itinerary?  Newbury Street in Boston with my mom and sister. James Joseph for hair products. Starbucks. Burberry. Jasmine Sola. Urban Outfitters. Calypso… and Sonsie for dinner. Perfect day!

If you could own the wardrobe of any film or t.v. character, whose would it be? My friends are all laughing right now because I am so predictable! Carrie Bradshaw. She can mix and match ready-to-wear with flea market and still rock it. Her clothes told her story. I think everyone should tell a story with their clothes.

The ultimate accessory is... a great necklace! I wear this TARINA TARANTINO necklace out almost every weekend. It is my absolute favorite. It reminds me of Bali.
